N95 maskFilters smoke, dust, fumes during fires/unrest,mainly good at stoping pathogens(disease causing organisms)

protip:get the good kind with max visibility,non paper,headstraps so you can run with it and hopefully escape with the mask intact

Water bottle + purification tablets Stay hydrated when supply cuts

protip:on your search if you chose to pick out this item which is an essential  you will find many water filters that work by attaching onto bottles or provided bags to filter directly off of contaminated water,purification tablets,a cloth filter, few steel mugs or containers along with a bottle top filter should keep up safe and healthy even if you do not have acess to fire which draws attention from smoke and shifts in animal movements in jungle terain

MRE,tactical flashlights,spare medication,tactical or bug out gloves,work equipment and all sorts of goodies can save you.

invest some time into what you want accomplished on each journey and carry those things,obviously no man can save himself depend on others and make good friends that are not addicts or bad ,sometimes you can trick your enemy to help you out instead provided he is not out to hurt you

Repair and utility

Multi-tool (Leatherman type)=Fixes gear, opens cans, cuts rope

Duct tape + zip ties=Patch leaks, secure gear, makeshift repairs 

Work gloves=Protect hands when moving debris, breaking glass

Pocket knife / Swiss army knifeCuts, opens, repairs daily items 

rubber gloves to prevent electric shock

 A toolkit with angle grinder and spare cutting/buffing/both wheels,spark gaurds and spark resistant body cloths and shoes .the sparks hurt and can seriously burn you

lightsout situation​

  • Battery/hand-crank radio for updates (Wi‑Fi down)

  • Carbon monoxide detector (battery) near bedrooms if you use gas/propane cookingThermal blankets / warm clothes + close unused rooms/curtains to keep heat

  • ​Power banks: Fully charged (keep them topped up); solar or crank charger as backup

  • having no pets to keep silence

  • make sure to install blinds in your house to keep light minimal and make sure you stop working and get to bed before evening ,you dont want to be caught before the lights are back on especially in a dangerous neighborhood.i would not suggest to plan to stick around dangerous neighbors anyways

  • you can consider emp proofing a room or two and keeping those rooms central to the house to avoid detection of said emp cages and keep electronics and batteries there

  • getting cardiovascullarly fit is a main thing when preparing to put up a fight
